Mountain Lion Hunts:
Mountain Lion hunts take place after the snow falls providing us with the best tracking conditions. We use snowmobiles and 4x4 vehicles to look for lion tracks. After a track is found we turn the dogs out to follow the track and put the cat in a tree. Two of our guides, J.C and Randy have some of the top hounds in western Wyoming and to say the least are crazy about chasing big cats. Thanks to these great dogs we have had a 100% success on putting a cat in a tree for our clients. Lion hunts can be physically strenuous but also fun and exciting. It is very rewarding in the end after you have followed a pack of bawling hounds up the side of a mountain to a tree where a big Tom waits. Depending upon where we are hunting accommodations consist of our lodge, a hotel or ranch house. Lion tags can be purchased over the counter.
